Jake leads our development team, where he combines deep technical expertise with a passion for modernising legal services.
With over a decade of experience in developing commercial software for traditionally tech-resistant sectors, Jake has an exceptional track record in creating impactful, user-centered solutions for legal teams, startups, and established enterprises.
His work is dedicated to reshaping family law experiences with digitally enabled, client-centric solutions that prioritise ease of use and streamlined outcomes.
Jake is fluent in Japanese and holds dual degrees in Information Systems and Business (Financial Management).
Nadine Read
Principal Lawyer
Nadine is a highly experienced lawyer who has practiced exclusively in family law for over a decade. She strives to create a better way for people to navigate the legal process.
Nadine is dedicated to helping her clients get the best possible legal advice and provides insightful guidance on hundreds of family law financial settlements each year.
At Legatics, she draws on her combined experience as a lawyer and a digital product manager to drive our work. She is passionate about using innovation and technology to improve legal services and works closely with our developers to deliver a tailored digital experience.
Nadine holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and Master of Laws (Family Law), in which she received an award of high achievement for academic excellence.
Steve Greenway-Read
Director of Business Development & Engagement
Steve is a skilled technical and business advisor who takes an agile approach to leading our business development and engagement projects. He advises decision-makers on digital solutions that align with their corporate goals, and has worked with clients in the legal, healthcare, education and finance industries.
Steve is highly experienced in business development and has a background in IT and mental health. He is committed to providing a practical and supportive legal experience for people going through tough situations like separation and divorce.
Steve holds an MBA and has qualifications in Health and IT.
Ben Jackson
Software Developer
Ben leads the front-end development for our legal software. He has a knack for crafting clean, responsive user interfaces that enhance user experience, and makes it a point to stay on top of recent developments in front-end technologies.
Ben is experienced in commercial front-end software development, ranging from start-ups to global SaaS platforms. He has a deep understanding of how customers interact with these products and uses this knowledge to craft solutions to common challenges and pain points users encounter with digital products.
He couples this experience with his keen eye for design (which includes some strong opinions on fonts!) to deliver visually appealing, highly functional and responsive interfaces which genuinely engage users.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Information Systems from the University of Tasmania.
